A night out in a cosy, candle-lit pub. Have a few beers, delicious food, comedy and a bit of physics.

Lovely physicists will give talks, and drawing on their skill, wit and charm, they will take us into their fascinating world for an evening.

We will throw in a few physics pub quiz questions and physics demos, and to help keep things light, the excellent comedian, Rik Moore will be our compere.

Who is Physics in the Pub for?

Physics in the Pub is designed to be a good night out. The talks are for people with no physics background looking for something different to do, as well as those who know a little about the subject who want to indulge their interest.
