Teams of Unbounders at our event in April battled each other in a physics pub quiz to win a bar tab for the night. Competitive spirits ran high as we tested physicists and non-physicists alike on their physics general knowledge.
We can’t of course divulge the questions (you will have to come to an event to find out more), but special chocolatey prizes were awarded to one team who got Pi correct to 9 decimal places, to players who managed to stand up in the quick-fire round without knocking the table over, and to one player who admitted publicly that he knew the chemical composition of farts.
It was a great night and this was down to the enthusiasm and impressive willingness of the crowd to throw themselves into the evening. A big thanks from Physics Unbound.
The next quiz will be at Physics in the Pub on 3 September 2014, at the Green Pub in Farringdon, accompanied this time by talks from two amazing physicists, Dr Ben Still and Dr Chris North. Click here to book tickets.
