A night out in a cosy, candle-lit bar with cool cocktails, delicious food and a bit of physics.

Lovely physicists will each give a talk, and drawing on their skill, wit and charm, they will take us into their fascinating world for an evening. We will teach you a quick physics demo involving a cocktail, and to help to keep it light, the wonderful comedian, Rik Moore will be our compere.

Who is Cocktails and Physics for?

Cocktails and Physics is designed to be a good night out. The talks are for people with no physics background looking for something different to do, as well as those who know a little about the subject who want to indulge their interest.
